Firefox Problem

Recently I came across a problem with Firefox, which is very common in systems that are not updating windows regularly……….

Problem: Whenever I try to open Firefox, it gives the following error message:

“ firefox.exe - Illegal System DLL Relocation

The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occured because the DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\SHELL32.dll occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL.

For this is the problem you should try the following Windows updates—It works:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=74AD4188-3131-429C-8FCB-F7B3B0FD3D86&displaylang=en

To overcome this problem in future you system must be updated regularly. For this you should enable the Automatic updates:

For this go to:

control panel à System à Automatic updates tab and choose the type of action you want to do.
